Agoura Bistro in Agoura Hills

Ordered 3 , 3 course meals for Mothers day and scheduled 6pm pickup. 1 hour and 5 mins late we finally got it. If you can not follow through with your orders in a timely manner, then do NOT overbook yourselves!! No excuse on a special day! We would have ordered elsewhere. The rest of our evening plans were ruined as a result.

A wonderful night...great company, good conversation, excellent food and an unlimited time to enjoy all.

Took chance on the prix fixe curb-side pick up menu. Very pleasantly surprised -- ordered 3 different meals & everything hot and delicious. Will definitely return to this little gem.

last night was the first time we went to this place. But It is absolutely not the last time. We had great time with the excellent service, with the great food and fine drinks and with the friendly payment. We will absolutely go back there in a short time.

I certainly enjoy their food and service, good area to where I live. The staff members are always super friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Don't waste your time or money. Food is mostly bland and tasteless. Two occasions in a row have been unpleasant. Will never be going back.

This little hidden gem is amazing and they allow you to bring your own wine for a small $2.00 corkage fee. Food and service are both top notch!!

Good foods. Steaks and Fries were underwhelming. Fries look like they came from a bottom of a bag. NY steak was thick. So it was very raw inside. Grilled Salmon was great and taste healthy. Budding dessert was awesome. Red wine, house, was not really good. It has a nice environment

How can you not love this place! Missing the location in Sherman Oaks, but the drive to Agoura is not bad at all. At least it allows you to get out of the traffic and noise of the valley. Order anything form the menu, they will not disappoint. Amazing food and atmosphere, owner always on site if you run into any issues, we have been guests for many years and never had a problem. Enjoy!

My favorite restaurant of the whole times receives 2 stars. Why? I loved the Sherman Oaks place it was perfect, almost perfect. Then I tried the new place, in Agoura Hills but the quality of food and service was not the same. The salads were so, so and my favorite dish rack of lamb was chewy and I could not swallow. So it had to go back. I thought that I had a bad luck with low quality peace of meet, (happens) but apparently I am not the only one who had the same bad experience. I read the same feedback from other customers. Last night was the second time visiting this place. The location is nice, always free parking, the owner is a great guy, but the food, I don't know. I am not sure if I want to go back, its sad, after 15 years coming to the same place, I may have to say farewell. I hope the owner reads this review and goes back to the same quality that he had for so many years. He goes back, I am coming back! Cheers... house wine is still good, :o))

Excellent food. We had the rack of lamb, beet/cucumber/goat cheese salad, and lobster bisque. It was all Very good!Service was top notch, very helpful, friendly and wasn't too intrusive. The Ambiance was great. Food options are great and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Cafe Bizou and will return.

Many years ago I used to enjoy their Sherman oaks location and I would say this location is every bit as good. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It's nice to find this combination at an affordable price. I do look forward to coming back here. It's nice to see that they're still around.

Friendly, romantic and very French! The place was packed, but with a reservation, our wait time was less than 3 minutes. Authentic menu, well-prepared. Great and thoughtful service. A lovely meal, a lovely evening. Will definitely be back!

Cafe Bizou has an excellent t cuisine (French. But also the usual American fare) and a warm, intimate atmosphere, even when full to capacity. It is to its credit that most of its clientele followed it to Calabasas after the Sherman Oaks branch closed down. It is the right place to go if you like traditional French cooking at reasonable prices.

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. It checks all the boxes: excellent service, ambience, food quality, and value.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

DELICIOUS. Parmesan Alaskan Sanbads (fish) dish was incredible. The mashed potatoes, veggies and sauce were perfectly cooked and went well with the fish. My family said the salmon dish was amazing as well. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The lobster bisque had a ton of lobster in it and was very tasty. We got the 3 course Prix Fixed menu. We had 3 desserts between us...bread pudding, tiramasu and flourless chocolate cake....all FABULOUS!! Everything was perfect. Go!!

The Pea soup is flavorful.. the mushrooms amazing.. we loved the ahi tuna... The service is wonderful... U gotta go there for real food and good food...

Found this place by surprise. But end up is a great choice. Tried the happy hour menu. From lobster soup, seafood pasta. It met my expecting on my high side.

I really enjoy their dishes and service, fantastic location nearby to my residence. The cashiers are always helpful. Will come back again.

A completely unexpected gem of a restaurant find by serendipity. My boyfriend is French : therefore I wanted to surprise him with French cuisine , of which , I did not expect to find locally.Although the restaurant may not be situated in a “trendy” location, do not let that deter you from a marvelous dining experience.The impressive cuisine, efficient service, intimate atmosphere exceeded my expectations. My Frenchman raved about the dinning experience. Cafe Bizou will now be added to my restaurant of choice.Thank you!

First of all the bartender makes excellent cocktails. Try the peartini it’s delicious. The restaurant is a hidden gem in Agoura Hills. Every entree I have tried was cooked to perfection. I like their lamb chops, salmon and halibut. If you go early they have a fix price menu for $20. They also have a low corkage charge for only two dollars. This is a must try restaurant. Make reservations before you go.

Always great. Their steak is better than Ruth's Chris, and we've always been pleased with their service. The owner is very nice and regardless of how busy they are, he remembers us.Today, the Valentine's menu was great.

This place was interesting. The ambiance was amazing, and gave me flash backs to Parisian bistros. The service was helpful and quick. Only knock on it was the food itself, which was good but not great. A good place for being entertained, but not the best restaurant as far as meal is concerned.

Absolutely amazing. I've been around the world eating and this place blew my mind. The Sandabs is incredible and the scallops were great!

This spot is worth a try. They serve large portions for fair rates. Always well kept and with awesome atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Girlfriend surprised me with birthday dinner at Cafe Bizou, and I need to share it is rather spectacular, perfect welcoming staff, service was excellent, the atmosphere was quite serene, nice decor, white table cloth, warm, almost a full house on a Sunday night still not too noisy, nice bottle of wine, good water, French bread, butter, calamari, lobster bisque, three meat dish, shrimp and pasta, crème brûlée, tiramisu, the five of us have nothing but good things to say about the whole experience! Thank you, we will be back soon. :-)

Good food, very fair prices, good service. The cedar plank salmon is great ad is the bread pudding.

I frequent this excellent restaurant often as I like the good mood that is part of this place. The personel is extremely helpful and experienced. The service is absolutely rapid. Also, the food they cook is magnificent. I frequent many times and I was always satisfied. The price is reasobable. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

One of my favorite restaurants.Been going to the other location in Sherman Oaks since they opened 25 years ago. Sadly the Sherman Oaks location has shut down recently. Visited this new location for the first time a couple weeks ago. Same people, same menu, same top notch food & service.

Too crowed. The table and waiters kept bumping into my chair. It was too hot. Wait staff could be faster. Food was not as good as the Sherman Oaks location.
